Now that you can introduce yourself, state your age, and name your favorite color, we shift to another frequent topic of the “getting-to-know-you” conversation: Your family (Familie) and your origins (Herkunft). In the end, you will  talk about the members of your immediate family and your family origins by presenting your family tree (Stammbaum).
