MO 4.1 Compare and contrast the continuum of normotension, prehypertension, hypertension, and hypertensive crisis.
MO 4.2 Correlate the pathophysiology of hypertension to complications in target organs.
MO 4.3 Discuss the organs, hormonal pathways, and systems that regulate blood pressure.
MO 4.4 Relate the pathophysiology of hypertension to the medication classes used to treat the condition.
MO 4.5 Educate the client regarding possible drug interactions, side effects, and adverse effects of hypertensive medications and when to call the healthcare provider.
