9 Disordered Speech Transcription
Transcribing disordered speech is much like transcribing typical speech. If you are transcribing in person, be sure you can visualize the child’s production. This will help with determining place, manner, and voicing of the phonemes in the production. If you are transcribing from a video or recording, be sure to use ear phones to ensure accurate perception of speech.
