This lesson will expand on appropriate responses regarding your daily state of mind (Geisteszustände). In the end, you will be able to 1) respond to “Wie geht’s?” depending on your state of mind and 2) say how someone else is doing.

Köln im Blickpunkt

In Köln gibt es die einzige Palmenallee Deutschlands. Sie liegt in der Kölner Flora, dem Botanischen Garten der Stadt. 2008 pflanzte man dort 30 Chinesische Hanfpalmen. Diese Palmen sind besonders widerstandsfähig und überleben gut im milden Klima Kölns.

Cologne is home to Germany’s only palm avenue. It’s located in the Cologne Flora, the city’s botanical garden. Thirty Chinese hemp palms were planted there in 2008. These palms are particularly hardy and survive well in Cologne’s mild climate.
