2.3 Meine Familie kommt aus…

Hallo allerseits!

Let’s warm up with our Tagesminiplausch and Wiederholung.

Wiederholung

Today, we will begin with a review.

Jetzt bist du dran!

Imagine you are on a train in Germany, traveling from Stuttgart to Frankfurt, and you begin talking to the German seated next to you. After you introduce yourselves, you talk about your families. Which family members do you name? Write out your dialogue in your journal and/or meet with a classmate and record your dialogue in your audio journal.

Lektionsüberblick

Sharing about our families can connect us with new friends and acquaintances. In this lesson we will strengthen our ability to talk about our families, where they are from, and where they live now. In the end, you will be able to 1) ask where someone lives, 2) say where your family lives, 3) ask someone where they are from, and 4) say where your family comes from.

Was weißt du schon?

Zum Schluß

In this lesson, you learned how to 1) ask where someone lives, 2) say where your family lives, 3) ask someone where they are from, and 4) say where your family comes from. If you are feeling unsure about any part, go back to that section and review.
Do you remember Julia and Yasmin’s conversation in the park? Imagine you are meeting someone from this lesson or someone IRL. Introduce yourself and ask that person for their information (name, age, birthdate). Then ask where they live and where they are from. Then ask them where their family lives. Write out your dialogue in your written journal. Then record it yourself in you audio journal or meet up with a classmate and record together.
